On August 6, 2013 at the age of 76, God made Ruth Marie (Baker) Lippel perfect.
Daughter of Ruth Isole (Townsend) Baker and Joe Russell Baker, wife of Lewis Glen Lippel, Jr all of whom met her when she went home to her Lord and Savior.
A woman of faith and prayer, she was involved in church activities all her life, from PK to Deacon’s wife, to the treasury and hospitality. A prolific artist, no medium was too much for her. She found beauty and shared it wherever she went. She volunteered for Grace House, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and church workdays and had a house full of company at every holiday because she adopted anyone who needed love. A great encourager and nurturer, she even had strangers in need live in her home. A tenacious prayer- she changed lives. She will be terribly missed by her church family, her daughters Sharon Lynn Spangenberg and Tracy Lee Lippel, her grandchildren Cailyn Joseph Spangenberg, Nicholas James Spangenberg, Joseph Lewis Cristiano, Connor Russell Cristiano and her dearest friends Joe, Carol and Mike.
Life Celebration will be 6:30 PM Wednesday, August 7 at Beachside Baptist Church Pine Street New Smyrna Beach followed by a potluck supper.
