Obituary
Sara J. Bancale (nee Gates), age 69, of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly Twinsburg, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2018, in her words “Changed her Address”, surrounded by her family. Sara was born November 9, 1948 in East Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of the late Francis (Frank) E. and Mary Ruth Gates. She had been a resident of Fort Myers for over thirty years coming from Twinsburg Ohio.
Sara was the most loving, caring woman you would ever meet, she will be remembered for her amazing smile, sense of humor, kindness and generosity to others, her love for animals, tennis, game shows, naps, her family, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Sara is survived by her husband of forty years, Peter A. Bancale, of Fort Myers, FL; sisters, Linda R. Gates, of Fort Myers, FL, Susan E. Kraska (Gates) and her husband Ed, of Painesville, OH; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless close friends.
Sara was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Ruth Gates.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, Florida 33908. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family services have been planned.
Baldwin Brothers, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.
