Scott Thomas Martin, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. He is survived by his father Kenneth Martin and brother Steve Martin.
My eulogy for Scott
Scott Thomas Martin was my youngest son. He was stubborn, irritable and hard to get along with. I wish he were here right now.
He changed my life while he was here and has changed it again with his passing. My soul cries out for his unlived days and years. Parents aren’t supposed to see the death of a child, even one who is 50 years old. One can only stand so many losses before joy goes out of life.
Scott’s loss has brought me to that point and it’s unlikely I shall recover. We go on as we must but diminished in every respect for he will not be there. Farewell my son. Life is less without you and will ever be.
