Obituary

Sharleen Wells
2-12-1951 – 6-19-2020

Sharleen was a very caring, loving, kindhearted beautiful friend to everyone.
She always had a smile on her face and a happy outlook. Always willing to help and care for many.
She would call or text to see how you’re feeling or if she needed to help you in anyway.
Sharleen was Disneys “BIGGEST” FAN. She collected Disney ears, pictures, figurines, shirts and even Disney jewelry. When she made plans to go to Disney everything had to match, her ears, shirt, jewelry and would dress according to the events. If she had “Purple” for that specific event she would always wear that color as it was her FAVORITE.
When she wanted someone’s attention you would hear across the room “YooHoo” and she got your undivided attention.
Sharleen had funny stories of crazy things that seemed to only happen to her.
She has touched so many lives and we are truly going to miss her.
You’ve given us so many precious memories that we will always remember them with a smile on our faces and laughter in our hearts.
We will be looking for that “Purple” twinkle in the stars and when we see that bright twinkle we will know it’s YOU.
We miss you and Love You Shar with all our hearts!

Rest In Peace Sharleen. Great times working together. Actually for a long time from First Union to Wachovia. Always a smile on your face and a kind word for everyone. Best times were the newspaper we produced and had so much fun with all of us putting it together. Perpetual rest grant unto her oh lord and may she Rest In Peace.

Sharleen, you will truly be missed by all. I know only strange things could happen to you, what I learned was to never iron a piece of clothing while it was on my body.
Going to the movies and eating all that popcorn, after a large lunch, will never be the same.
    Love you my dear friend
    Nancy

Our family will not be the same without Sharlene. She was Sugar and spice, and everything nice! She lived for Disney, she had so many items, and they made her happy. She was always the prim and proper one, and I was always the tom boy. She played with Barbies, I played with baseball bats, soccer balls, etc. You made a difference in so many lives. Memories of you will carry on forever. Prayers for you, and I will miss you terribly, my Dear Cousin. I will love you forever. I know you are with Aunt Millie, Uncle Lew, my Mother, our Grandfather, etc.... While we will do without you, I know you are so happy to see them again Love always, we will meet again.

Sharleen was like a sister to me. She was such support while my husband was suffering from cancer and heart failure and after he was gone. Her sweet little dog, Buddy, would pull her across the yards when we were both outside. Then we would stand and talk, catching up on each other's news. I felt secure knowing she was next door and a phone call away. I miss you sweet friend but IF3BY know you are at peace with your parents.
