Obituary

Sharon Boyle.    August 11, 1935 – June 14, 2020

Sharon Boyle, 84, left us peacefully at her home on Sunday June 14, 2020 due to natural causes. Sharon was born August 11,1935 to Rita and John Flynn in Detroit, Michigan where she graduated from high school and attended University of Detroit. Soon after she met and married Tom Boyle and moved to Orlando, FL in 1964 where they raised their two children .Sharon lived quite an active life from her daily involvement in her local community at Rio Pinar Country Club to her work in public relations at Tupperware , Disney and Valencia College on through to her various travels with her husband, children and the FTD Family and  even into her later years through her volunteer work with BETA, Meals on Wheels and The Shakespeare and Orlando Repertory Theaters. She also loved to learn new things and pursued further enrichment by attending UCF’s LIFE program for seniors. After moving from Rio to Westminster, she continued her active lifestyle, making many dear friends. Her outwardly kind nature, easy smile and genuine interest in people and their stories often made her a crowd favorite. She was a wonderful daughter and very involved with her own aging parents; a loving sister who enjoyed her visits back “North” to visit her older sister and brother. She was a loving, supportive wife to Tom. An amazing mother, juggling the various needs of both her children. Favorite aunt to many nephews and nieces. Last, but not least, she loved being a grandma! She is survived by her children, Tom Boyle and Kelly (Glenn) Solomon, and her grandchildren, Nyle Boyle, Jake and Parker Solomon. Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, July 11th @ 10am at Good Shepherd Church 5900 Oleander Drive Orlando, FL 32807. Baldwin Brothers is handling the arrangements.
