Obituary

Sharon Weaver, 66, of Mount Dora, FL passed away on November 23, 2022, surrounded by loved ones following a long battle with Endometrial Cancer. Sharon, born on November 13, 1956 to Leon and Gwen Recob in Muskegon, MI, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.

In 1979, she met Richard Weaver, the love of her life. They were married May 8, 1982 and had one daughter, Kristin, in 1984. She was a wonderful and loving wife and mother who gave her all to her family. Sharon, was described by all that knew her as kind, caring, strong, a wonderful friend, and someone who would do anything for someone in need. She enjoyed camping with her husband in their 5th wheel travel trailer, motorcycle rides with her husband and friends, trips to the beach with her “Safeco Gals”, boat rides with her daughter and son-in-law, vacationing with friends in Blue Ridge, GA, and most of all, spending time with her family. We will all miss her laughter and friendship.

Sharon, was predeceased by Leon Recob (father), Richard Weaver (husband), Deborah Cregg (sister), and Todd Recob (brother). Sharon is survived by her daughter Kristin Weaver (John M. Baldo) of Mount Dora, FL, mother Gwen Recob of Tavares, FL, brother Michael (Kim) Recob of Saginaw, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Sharon Weaver’s name to Foundation for Women’s Cancer.

A public memorial will be held at Baldwin Brother’s Funeral and Cremation Society in Tavares, FL on January 7, 2023 from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

I surely enjoyed working and socializing with Sharon during the long tenure we share at Safeco and beyond. She was always so cheerful and giving, which is duly mirrored in her daughter Kristin, whom I also worked with. God Bless You Sharon as you enjoy perpetual peace and comfort, and God Bless all the remaining family who can delight in the memories of this delightful lady and friend.
