Obituary

JONES

Stanley Morris, age 57, of Osteen, FL passed away on December 19, 2016 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family and friends.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Corinna; his 5 children, Ruth (Jared Jimenez) Jones, Rosie Jones, Stanley Jr. (Narissa), Amber and Jesse; 7 grandchildren; his father, Johnnie; 2 sisters, Sharon (Johnnie) King and Connie; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Morris is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Rose;  his brother, Johnnie Melvin; and his grandparents.  Morris loved cars, NASCAR, and cars, cars and cars.  “If it wasn’t MoPar, it was no car”.  A Celebration of Life service for Morris will be held at a later date.     So sorry to hear about this loss. I recall talking at length with Morris any time I saw him about Mopars. We shared a common love for B-bodies! My mom even test drove a 1969 Charger he once had when she was looking for a car. He's been many times to the family salvage yard in Debary searching out Mopar parts. We will all miss him and our deepest sympathies to the family with their tremendous loss of a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend...

    I'm so sorry for everyone. I wish I had lived a little closer so I could visit more often. He's been a part of the family for so long now and I know he touched so many lives.     Morris , I must say you put up a good fight , but God knew when your journey here on earth was complete , and you can believe he is not finished with you , he has slot if plans for you in heaven . I have known you for 30 years and I have always known you to stand your ground , the ground you stand on now is more glorious and filled with complete freedom of no pain , no suffering and your journey hear may have ended , but your journey to live an eternal life has just begun .     To my sweet baby girl, I'm so sorry for your loss and I only wish I could make it all right for you. You loved this man so deeply and for so long his memory will live on forever in your heart. Morris suffered so much pain in the last few years, but through that pain he was always surrounded by so many loving people. I'm ever grateful to Ruthie, Sharon and Connie for being there with their father/brother so that you could continue to work. Jared and Mac who loved to debate things with Morris, he was like a brother to them also. His kids and grandkids, family and friends. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand. I remember once when I thought I could replace my floor by myself and he came over and ask me what I was doing. Without so much as a word from me he left and came back with his tools and with Mac's help they replaced that floor in no time. Osteen will never be the same without his presence, but he is suffering no more. May God rest his soul, until we meet again on the other side. With my love and deepest sympathy, Momma.
