Obituary

Susan E. Freeman, nee Griffin, of Ormond Beach, FL, Tucson, AZ, Shaker Heights, OH, and Belmont, MA passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2024. She was born March 23, 1942, in Somerville, MA, to parents Alma and Joseph Griffin.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Freeman, and children, Michael, Robert and Kathleen. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Ian, Calista, Kelly and Ryan, and great grandchildren, Skylar, Redding, Alexander and Griffin.

Susan will be remembered for her generosity, her fierce loyalty, and her sharp wit. She is dearly loved by her family and friends, and her memory and love will remain forever in our hearts.

A private family ceremony will be held in Cleveland, OH at a later date. Please lift a glass and remember this proud Irish woman!

    I called Susan, SuzyQ, whenever we played bridge together. We laugh a lot over our brave biding of our hands that at times we did not make. It was a pleasure knowing her even though the pleasure was of shorth duration. I'm so sorry to hear the loss of such a delightful person.
