Sylvia L. Winchester, 93, died surrounded by her family on June 2, 2014. She was born to Walter and Irene Larson on April 8, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her nursing degree from Swedish Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota and worked as a school nurse in Sparta, NJ. She retired to New Smyrna Beach, FL in 1981. She is predeceased by her husbands, Kenley V. Winchester and Henry F. Teichmann. She is survived by her children, Pamela (John) Woodford, Kennett Square, PA, Todd (Pamela) Winchester, New Smyrna Beach, FL, Jay (Peggy) Winchester, Harpers Ferry, WV and five loving grandchildren, Robin Kauffman, Kate Woodford, Robert Woodford, Jacob Winchester and Spencer Winchester and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Wigren McCrossen, Albuquerque, NM and her brother, Bruce (June) Larson, Mound, MN. A memorial service will be held June 25, 2014 at her home.
