Wallace W. Dembowski passed away peacefully on August 9, 2013 at his home. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Waclaw and Matilda (Stepien) Dembowski. Wallace was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and was a US Navy veteran. He worked for many years at UTC Carrier as a supervisor and retired in 2005.
In addition to his wife Cheryl of 43 years, Wallace is survived by his daughter Tiffany (Larry) Phillips of Morrisville, NY; daughter Jennifer Dembowski of Chesapeake, VA; his son, Jeffrey (Amanda) Dembowski of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Kaleb, and Kallie.
A memorial service will be held on September 28th at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Church, 927 Park Ave, Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 2201 Lucien Way, Maitland, FL 32751.
My sincerest sympathy on the loss of your wonderful husband. Butch was one of my favorite cousins. We were about the same age and he was in my highschool class. He was so well liked -- you had the best and I am sure he will be in your hearts forever. in sympathy, Carolyn & Jerry
