Obituary
Walter W. Crocker, Jr., 83, passed away on February 22, 2019 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL. He was born on September 11, 1935 in Birmingham, AL to the late Walter W. Crocker, Sr. and Mary Lee (Pugh) Crocker. Walter served in the National Guard, and he worked as a Substation Foreman for FP&L, retiring after 38 years. He attended Grace United Methodist Church, Cape Coral, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Carol J, Crocker; his son, Michael Kelley (Trisha) Crocker; his daughter, Heidi Lynn (Steve) Singletary; his daughter, Julie Ann (Kenny) Nelson; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jennifer, Brad & Makayla Ammons, Jessie, Doug, Caden & Brynlee Tarn, Clay, Sara & Sadie Crocker, Mathew & Whitney Singletary, Cody & Chelsi Singletary, Devin, Katlyn and Kinsley Collier and Emma Nelson, his sisters, Peggy Davids, Dorothy Flynn, Ledith Humphries, and MaryAnn Strickland; and his brother, Steve Crocker. In lieu of flowers Walter’s family would like donations to be made to the City Gate Ministries, 1735 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, FL 33901 and Hope Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 2 pm at the City Gate Ministries, 1735 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, FL. 33901. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Ft. Myers, FL.
