Obituary
INMAN—-Warren Douglas “Doug” Inman passed away December 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 12, 1938 in his family home in North Jacksonville, FL to Leonard H. and Lucy Thompson Inman. He is survived by his daughter Maria Inman Henley (Dan) and son Douglas Samuel Inman (Karen). He is also survived by his 2 granddaughters Ashton K. Henley and Madeline G. Henley, as well as sister’s Sylvia Newton, Lola Mae Jay (Eddie), and Barbara Bergyn, and many nieces and nephews.
He served in the United States Coast Guard and is one of the few people who had been to both the North and South Poles during his years of service. Warren was a lifelong salesman. He managed numerous car dealerships up and down and the East Coast, prior to retiring to Port Orange, FL. Warren enjoyed fishing, golf, walks along the beach in Flagler and Volusia Counties. He was predeceased by both of his parents, his brothers Thomas Inman, Calvin Inman, Leonard Inman Jr., and sister’s Marcelle Phillip and Winifred Crosby.
The Memorial Service for Warren D. Inman (Doug) will be held at the Halifax Health – Hospice Chapel of Port Orange 3600 Woodbriar Trial, Port Orange, FL 32129 at 4:00pm on Tuesday January 2, 2018.
