Obituary

Warren William Zagacki, 79, passed away in St Petersburg FL surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer on April 24, 2024.

Warren worked many jobs to support his family including an auto glass installer, glass technician and glazier.

Warren was an amazing husband, brother, son, father, grandfather and friend. He was a hard worker and was fiercely protective of his family. He loved spending time with family and yelling at the grand babies to STOP RUNNING IN THE HOUSE and to KEEP IT DOWN! And my ever favorite if you got in the way of his TV… SIT DOWN! YOU MAKE A BETTER DOOR THAN A WINDOW.

His hobbies included….
Riding motorcycles.
Sitting back in his recliner.
Watching the tube, clicker in hand with Ms. Foxie on his lap.

Warren was pre deceased by his wife Mary on July 23, 2022. He is survived by his sister Madeleine Bassi; children Philip, Dawn, Jennifer, and son in-law Jeff; grandchildren Crystal, Leann, Alyssa, and Bradley, six great grandchildren, and two on the way that did not have the honor of meeting him, cousins, nieces, nephews, other extended family, many dear friends, and his beloved dog, Foxie.

HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
so He put his arms around you,
and whispered “Come to me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hardworking hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Warren and Mary are together again in heaven. ❤️
