Wayne we thought that you were only moving away, but you could still be reached when we needed to talk about good times and shared memories. I'm going to miss our July 4th rides out to Monkey Island to watch the fireworks and buzz around the Cherokee Queen a few times because we could. Rest in peace my friend.

Wayne and I had known each other since his beloved mom was in the hospital battling cancer and I was a candy-striper. After high school our roads took different turns and I didn't meet up with him again until the mid '80s. I saw him at the 50th MHS Reunion in 2015 and talked a couple of minutes. Rest in peace, Wayne.

Cathy & Michael, My Dad, John Hogue was a friend of Wayne's. When Dad moved to Grove in 2013 Wayne was one of the first people he met. They became great buddies and had breakfast almost everyday together until Wayne moved to Florida. You might have met my Dad when he came to Florida to visit your Dad. Needless to say my Dad is sad that Wayne has passed away, but at the same time so glad that they became such good friends. Praying for peace and comfort for you both in the days ahead.
