Obituary
Wenceslao Miranda, 93, of Ocala, FL passed away July 10, 2018. Born in Lugo, Spain, he came to the U.S. in 1962. He moved to Ocala in 1994 from Portland, OR, where he had taught as a Professor of Spanish and Spanish Literature at Portland State University. He was an alumni of Columbia University and the City College of New York. He was of Catholic faith, a lover of chocolate and enjoyed piloting private aircraft when he was able. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maria G. Miranda and daughter, Michele Miranda of Portland, OR. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marina and his brother, Manolo. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (6455 SW SR200, Ocala, FL 34476) on Tuesday, July 17th at 12PM.
