I have numerous memories of Willy that would speak volumes of his love for our two daughters, Elmina and Helena. I think that his greatest accomplishment in his life was his profound love for his daughters and our beautiful grandsons, Ryan and Nicholas. Willy was a very spiritual man and I know that he will always be with his daughters, grandsons and all the people that he loved and touched. I also know that he is very happy surrounded by the love of his family and friends who have already passed. God Bless You Willy.

Grandpa Willy was a man of many traits. A few of these traits consist of the ability to have you laughing until your stomach began to ache. Along with this came another trait, the ability to talk forever. This trait had many others and me on the phone for hours on end. One of my favorite memories with this wonderful man was a simple game the two of us once played. This game in which the two of us had imaginary kingdoms and we would kidnap, ransack, and destroy each other’s kingdoms. I would always end up victorious. Ending in the saying "I've got your Queen!" This was the most profound memory I have of Grandpa Willy. I will hold this and the other countless memories we shared with one another close to my heart. - Nicholas Richard Brown - Grandson

My father and my BEST friend was there for me as I entered this world. I was there for my father when he left this world. My world will never be the same again. A piece of my heart is now in heaven. I will hold dear to my heart the endless memories I have of all the laughter, long conversations and time we spent together. I know he will always be with me as he was in life; watching over everyone he loved so much. The poem below says it all.

I know that no matter what
You will always be with me.
When life separates us
I’ll know it is only your soul
Saying goodbye to your body
But your spirit will be with me always.
When I see a bird chirping on a nearby branch
I will know it is you singing to me.

When the gentle fragrance of a flower catches my attention

To appreciate the simple things in life.

You made me laugh, but now I cry. A handsome man with big blue eyes! Your heart was so big and now ours are broken I love you and will miss you till we meet again! Take your place sitting at the hand of God. Make him laugh and fly high Willy! Love you so much!

My Daddy, You made me laugh you made me cry. You are my best friend. You are the man I ran to my whole life. No one will love me the way you did , besides John lol. Love you with all my heart and soul. Your Baby Girl ❤❤❤
