Obituary

William Acie Evans Jr, 70, passed away on Friday November 27, 2020 in Gainesville FL.

William is survived by his son Danny Holdren of Candler NC, his son Chad Evans of Candler NC, his daughters Katherine Hinton of Anderson SC, Pam Ritter of Leesburg FL and son Todd Ball of Knoxville TN. He is preceded in death by his son Dallas Evans.

William was born on June 19, 1950 in Leesburg Florida to William Acie Evans Sr and Geraldine Kelley. He graduated from Leesburg High School in 1968. William enlisted in the Army April 9, 1968. During his service, he served a tour in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged with a rank of E3 PV1 on November 30, 1970. His life career was a meat cutter. He was a hard worker who loved what he did and taking care of his family.

Services for William is scheduled for Saturday December 5th between 1-3 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral home located at 3990 E. SR 44, Suite 105 Wildwood Fl 34785.

There will be a reception at the American Legion Post # 219 in Fruitland park at 194 Fountain St, Fruitland Park, FL 34731 Following the service
