Obituary
William (Bill), Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. He was 86 years of age and lived in North Port, Florida. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and moved to North Port, Florida 24 years ago after he retired for the third time. He was a sergeant in the US army, a part of the color guard; meat cutter at First National for 19 years; police officer for 31 years at The Hartford Police Department; an investigator at United Technologies for 5 years.
In retirement Bill enjoyed fishing, boating, bocce, dancing, cards, and traveling (internationally and locally). Always the fan of off the beaten path historical and local favorite locations.
Father of four sons and one daughter. He leaves behind three sons, one daughter, and his wife.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would like donations to be made in William’s (Bill) name c/o American Cancer Society.
