Obituary
William J Ustinovich, age 83, passed away December 21,2023 in Venice, Florida.
Bill had a brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Linda and children, William J Ustinovich (Doreen) of New Bedford, MA, Randall D Ustinovich of New Bedford, MA, Holly Johnson of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Bill grew up in Millbury, MA where he moved on to build his family in Sutton, MA. Bill was an electrician for many years. He also owned alongside his wife Linda, Ustinov Diamond Jewelers in Swansea and Dartmouth, MA. He loved fishing, boating, and golfing in his later years.
Bill Ustinovich was a born leader. From being President of his Class for four years and throughout his athletic career- Little League Baseball, Pee Wee Baseball and a Millbury High School Athletics Hall of Famer career, classmates, players and teams looked to him for guidance and he always responded.
He won varsity letters in four sports, was Captain of the Basketball and Baseball squads, and capped off his final year leading Woolies to League Championships in basketball, baseball and an undefeated Track season.
Bill was a star hitter on Millbury Old Time Inn State Champion softball teams of the mid-sixties. He once held the New England Black Belt Judo championship.
Under his picture in the 1960 Millbury High School yearbook, a quote read, “Ay, every inch a king!” No better description could be said of Bill.
Funeral services are being handled by Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home Venice and private services will be held by the family.
