Obituary
He left life on March 25, 2025
Preceded in death by “My girl” Mary Alyce wife of 68 years in December of 2019. Survived by son Mark Alan Paul and Daughter Marcia Lynn Cooper. Daughter in Law Lisa Paul, Son in Law Robert Cooper. Grandsons Joel Alan Paul, and Jacob Edward Paul, great granddaughters Olive Elizabeth and Ivy Alyce.
An Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Served in the occupation army of Japan prior to the official end of World War II. And in the reserve until recalled to active duty.
Started his education with the G.I. Bill of Rights at Milton College in Wisconsin and received a degree from the American University, Washington DC. He continued legal studies at the University of Maryland and Southern College.
Certified in two professions, Certified Systems Professional CSP and Certified Facility Manager CFM.
After Army discharge, he started his professional career in Data Processing in the Southern California Aero Space Industry. He continued to advance at the Defense and Commercial Companies, becoming manager of Data Processing at an Aerospace Instrument Company.
He was recruited by General Electric to be one of two systems analysts, nation-wide to start up G.E. computer business in Phoenix, Arizona. He continued his professional progression and promotions with G.E. at numerous locations as a systems consultant and manager of information.
He started a second management career in Facilities Management. He worked in Western Europe on projects in addition to managing facilities for G.E. Information Systems throughout the United States.
Upon retiring from G.E. the same day he joined his former manager as Vice President of Facilities Plus, Inc. Then retired again after a successful time in business.
The next move was to Orlando, Fl to start retirement. But they moved again to have the beach life on the Florida Barrier Island of Ponce Inlet, and then finally to a continuing care community in Orange City, Florida.

While working and in retiring II, he served the Lutheran Church at various locations as assisting minister, home communion server, Sunday school superintendent, council member and even gave sermons. His favorite was starting a program with Mary Alyce and four close friends to feed the homeless on Christmas Day. The program expanded to include a five-day lunch a week for the homeless in Bethesda, MD.
Born August 12, 1928 only child of Norman L. Paul and Rosetta Walther Paul in Janesville, Wi. He was very proud to be the fifth direct male decedent of Lemmuel Paul who fought in the American war of Independence.
