I"m so sorry to hear of "Gripper's" passing. I worked with him at the Union Leader for many years. As a matter of fact, he was one of the "old timers" that trained me! He was firm but he knew his stuff! He could be rough and abrasive at times, but deep down he had a good heart and was always kind to me!

My Pal, Buddy, Dear Friend whom I called Dad. For over 25 years we have done so much together, you taught me many things including the joy of painting. We had many good times together and several beers, you were always there for me when I needed you. Looking forward to the time we meet again.
