Obituary

Ronald Peter Inverso, 76, of The Villages, FL, went to be with his Lord on May 23, 2025.

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, on June 30, 1948, to Samuel and Mary (Pisarro) Inverso, Ronald graduated from Spring Garden College in 1971 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He married Connie Pappalardo in 1974.

A respected construction professional, Ronald managed complex projects along the East Coast, serving in leadership roles at Holt Construction, SCI Engineering, and AECOM. His work included overseeing multi-million-dollar facilities, introducing new technologies, and managing the largest public works project in New Jersey’s history. He was a founding member of the South Jersey Chapter of the Project Management Institute and was honored as its Citizen of the Year.

Ronald volunteered for many years at the St. John the Beloved Carnival in Delaware and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Wildwood, FL. He loved spending time with family, including a trip to Disney World and a Royal Caribbean cruise, completing his daily crossword puzzles, rooting for the Eagles, and listening to news talk radio.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie; sons Samuel (Stephanie) and Paul (Tricia); grandchildren Isabella, Paul Jr., Anastacia, Sean, and Jude; brother Daniel (Maxine); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mary.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on June 23 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Mercerville, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I enjoyed meeting and getting to know Ron from when we first were acquainted when he and Connie moved to The Villages. He was a proud father of Samuel and Paul and his wife Connie is just a wonderful and caring soul. Ron and I commiserated over Eagles failures and then the 2 Super Bowl victories. He had an encyclopediac knowledge of the construction trades and I know from his recounts it was a challenging profession. He fought long and hard through his challenging times but he bore it with his stalwart character. I hope he is in the Eagles box section of heaven and a Sunday will never go by when I don't think of him.
Well done, good and faithful servant - you've earned your heavenly reward.
