Upon completing his service time, Wayne continued his Railroad employment as a brakeman and retired in 2005 as a conductor with 38 distinguished years of service. He was an extremely hard worker and respected by all in the railroad industry. In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed tinkering in the garage, camping with his family, woodcutting and shooting with his three sons, and perusing photo albums and reminiscing with his grandchildren.
