Obituary
Frank J. Armeno, 92, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025.
Born on September 26, 1932, in New York City, Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Throughout his life, he held a variety of jobs including working at Boeing on the Terrier missile, owning a gas station, and serving as a general manager at an automotive company for many years.
In 2009, Frank and his beloved wife Mary Ann moved to The Villages to enjoy their retirement years. He quickly became known in the community for his sharp memory and unmatched collection of jokes, which he shared with friends, doctors, and nurses—even in his final days. He especially cherished the companionship of his favorite four-legged friend, Oscar.
Frank loved traveling the world and cruising with Mary Ann, as well as dining out, solving puzzles, and sprinkling humor wherever he went.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Ann Armeno; his brother Sonny; his niece Valerie; and his nephew Joe (Kristen).
There will be no funeral services. Cremation is being handled by Baldwin Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later date at Bushnell National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
