Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Robert White Jr..AKA “Knuckles”, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us on September 20, 2025, at the age of 71. James was born on August 19, 1954, in Poughkeepsie, New York, to James R. White Sr. and Carol A. Campbell. He lived a vibrant life, filled with passion and resilience, until he departed peacefully in Fort Myers, Florida.

James was known for his tough spirit and strong presence. A true biker at heart, he embraced life boldly and unapologetically, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him. His strength and loyalty were matched only by his independent spirit, which resonated deeply with those around him. James was a man of depth and complexity, and his grit and determination exemplified the unique way he showed love to his family and friends.

He is survived by his cherished daughter, Faith White, who brought him immense joy throughout his life. James was a proud grandfather to Trinity Steiner and Justin Steiner, and a doting great-grandfather to Elena Grace. He also leaves behind his loving siblings: sister Shari Hill and her husband Rob Hill, brother David White and his wife Jessica White, and sister Valerie Blondin and her husband Larry Blondin. James was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who became family over the years.

James was preceded in death by his father, James R. White Sr., his mother, Carol A. Campbell, his son, Justin White, and his sister, Tammy Carbough. Their memories will forever be held close to his heart.

Professionally, James dedicated much of his life to working as an equipment operator in land development. His work ethic reflected his commitment to excellence and integrity, traits that defined his character. Beyond his professional life, James was a passionate biker, finding solace and freedom on the open road. These moments fed his adventurous spirit and allowed him to connect with the world around him.

As we reflect on James’s life, we are reminded of the legacy of independence and resilience he has left for his family and friends. His presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

In honor of James’s life, we encourage those who wish to celebrate his memory to share stories and memories of the man whose love was as fierce as his spirit. A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends.

James Robert White Jr. was a remarkable man whose life was defined by love, strength, and an unwavering sense of self. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to ride on the winds and in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
