I honor my mom. She brought me into this would. Through her ability to live and love I am here. She was my teacher my protector my loving mother lived her life as if she had no worries. If we were ever hungry we never knew it. If my mom had a hard day she hid it. I was so lucky that she loved to sew. She sewed me a lot of my school clothes. I remember my 6 th grade school photo I was so proud of my red and white suit. It was better than store bought it was made from love. So many days of my childhood I would fall asleep to the sound of singer singing away as my momma sewed love into every stitch.
She would sew for her sisters Joy, Darlene and Debbie and the local High School cheerleaders would agree that the Orange and Green of the Groveland Greenbacks were always beautiful and well made.
I met so many wonderful people because of the stitches momma sewed.
Her sewing machine was in her bedroom and so was the air conditioning.
Momma also made cookies and incredible Halloween costumes and we marched in parades and took Piano Lessons and went to church on Sunday.
My momma told me to always tell the truth.
The truth is I love her, and here on the wall where you can read it I will say my momma is a wonderful angel in heaven. I’m glad that her toil on earth is over and she is no longer struggling to breathe.
I’m glad she has an eternal life as promised by Jesus our Lord and Savior who died on a cross so that our eternal souls will always be with our families in heaven.
In my heart I know mom is safe cause I can feel her in my heart I guess we all that lived all these years 62 for me and know her the best know she is with her mom and dad cause they came to her.
Myself and m cousin Janet Guay
We on the phone together deep in prayer only moments before mother left with her mom and dad. We saw them in our prayer as we bowed our heads and asked for Our father in heaven to surround my mother we know our families her mom and dad and all our families in heaven came to get her. I felt a sense of incredible peace and love .
I heard later she said hi mom and dad from her bed. I am humbled by God and the promise made in his son Jesus Christ our lord and Savior.
Galatians 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
