Obituary
Born Margaret Ann Donofrio to John and Peg Donofrio on September 18, 1939 Marge moved on to her eternal home on September 19, 2025.
Calling New Smyrna Beach, Florida her home since 1996, Marge has lived in Winter Park, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Florida and also resided in Denver, Colorado for seven years. Born in Hobart, NY she spent her childhood in upstate NY and in central New Jersey.
Marge’s career in sales, marketing and public relations in the hospitality industry blessed her with a life she loved working with her friends and associates at countless hotel properties both foreign and domestic.
Upon her move to New Smyrna Beach to be near her parents, children and grandchildren, Marge began a new carerr inreal estate which she enjoyed until her retirement in 2011.
Marge is survived by her son and best friend, Mark Fairweather and her grandchildren, Laurel and Luke Fairweather. She was predeceased by her parents and her son Dean Fairweather.
Some of Marge’s favorite things were family gatherings, traveling (especially cruises), her relatives in New York state, food, wine, and hugs (especially from her grandson) and times spent with friends. She also enjoyed volunteering as a wish granter for Make A Wish Foundation.
Always active in her church, Marge served on the governing boards of several parishes and has also served as Sunday school teacher youth advisor, flower guild member and special events chairman.
In lieu of flowers, Marge has requested that she would like donations made to St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church (Rector Discretionary Fund), Gods Bathhouse of Volusia, or Make A Wish Foundation.
So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Sending love, hugs, and prayers at a time that I know is so hard… Remembering all the times our families spent together brings smiles for sure! Hold tight to the memories.
