Obituary

Larry Dean Reaume, 71, of The Villages Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on December 14th, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Trenton, MI on August 14th, 1954 and was raised in New Boston, MI by the late Bobby and Jack Reaume. He married the love of his life, Patricia, on October 30th, 1987 at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI.
Larry retired from McLouth Steel after 25 years and 10 years at Chrysler Warren Assembly in MI. He was a true craftsman who loved working with his hands. He found happiness in working on projects and constantly updating and making their home more beautiful. He loved golf, various games, clubs and outdoor sports. He found that moving to Florida he “became an athlete” because pickleball became his obsession. He had the most contagious and infectious laugh. Always laughing and joking. He could always put a smile on your face. He truly was an amazing man!
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; five children- Michael Kirksey, Andrea Reaume, John (Julie) Jarvis, Matthew (Katelyn) Reaume and Katie Reaume. Eight grandchildren- Darianne (Gabriel), Avery, Ashton, Drew, Mason, McKinley, Adley, Jax and recently a great granddaughter, Wren. Five siblings- Jaqueline Kibin, Vicki Slimp, Terri Close, Cliff (Anna) Reaume and Linda (Roy) Lilly. He is preceded in death by his brother Randy Reaume and brothers-in-law Anthony Kibin and Michael Slimp.
A Celebration of Life in Florida will be held on January 10th, 2026 at Ezell Recreation, 769 Marilee Place, from 1:00-4:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life in Michigan will be planned at a later date with details to follow.

Larry was a great man and I will always remember him. I know he loved his family more than anything. He taught me a lot about home renovation and I will always remember him for that. It was an honor to have known him well.
