Obituary
Clarence “Butch” Blain Slusher, 77, of Tavares FL passed away on April 19, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Visalia, CA on February 12, 1943. Butch served his country in the United States Army until he retired with a Purple Heart. He was a longtime resident of Coarsegold, CA.
Butch was always wearing a smile and sharing a joke. He enjoyed Car Racing, both as a driver and an avid fan. He also spent time golfing and loved going for long drives in search of a good hamburger.
Butch is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Slusher of Tavares, FL; daughter Dawn Slusher of Pacifica, CA; daughter Cindy Anthony of Champions Gate, FL; daughter Dana Patterson of Harrisburg, OR; and daughter Susan Robison of El Mirage, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Slusher; mother Minnie Wimer; and brother Daryl Slusher.
Services are pending due to Covid-19, arrangements will be made once conditions allow safe gatherings and travel.
His family has requested no flowers.
