Obituary
Colleen Dyan Daniels died on February 24, 2021, after an extended illness. She was 54 years old. Colleen was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, on July 10, 1966, and was the first child of LaVerne and David Devnich. The family then moved to the U.S. where they welcomed three more children. Her father was a pastor with the Seventh Day Adventist churches.
She married Chris Hallman in 1987 and later, they moved to Orlando. While working there, she graduated with a master’s degree in Family Psychology. She held various positions in long-term care and health insurance sales. In 1997, she married Rodney Daniels and they had three children (Brittaney, deceased; Lexi and Lauren Daniels).
She was preceded in death by her father, David Devnich, and her daughter, Brittaney Daniels. Survivors include her mother, LaVerne Devnich of Burnsville, MN, and siblings Kimberly (Paul) Buechele of Minnetonka, MN, Kirk Devnich of Apple Valley, MN, and Kendall Devnich of Burnsville, MN.
A memorial service is being held at Markham Woods Seventh Day Adventist Church in Longwood, FL, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 3rd. Memorials may be made to the Markham Woods Seventh Day Adventist Church at 505 Markham Woods Road, Longwood, FL, 32779.
