Obituary

His love for his family, fearless resolve, and sense of humor, were not lost when Seth Landon Whitney passed away at age 34, on August 12th 2022, in Port Orange FL, from a tragic accident. Seth was born July 22nd 1988, in Santa Ana California. A dedicated and talented man, he accomplished everything he set out to do. In 2007 he joined the Army National Guard where he served for 6 years as a Military Police Officer. He retired after having served as a US Border Patrol Agent on both the southern and northern US borders. During his time with the Border Patrol he attended the BP Canine Academy in El Paso TX where he met his loyal partner and best dog friend, Ulix. Seth went on to become a Canine Instructor before he retired. He met his wife Wendy in Cape Coral Florida where he purchased and ran an Auto Repair shop. Upon the birth of his daughter, he and his family moved to NY where he attended the Alfred State Police Academy in NY. He served as a Patrol Officer for the Nunda Police Department. Seth and his family moved to Port Orange, FL to be near his best friends and their kids. After a short time working for Port Orange PD, Seth chose to change career paths in order to spend more quality time with his family. Seth enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, and going to concerts, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and daughter and close friends Brandon and Kristen. He is survived by his loving wife Wendy, and precious daughter Maci Quinn. Along with his mother Kelly, brother Matthew, maternal grandmother Janet, step father Curt, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was predeceased by his father Kenneth, paternal grandparents Esther, and Ralph, maternal grandfather Charles, his aunt Dianne, uncle John, cousin Kelly Jo, and Canine Ulix.

A service to celebrate Seth’s life is scheduled for Friday September 9, 2022, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, located at 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127
