I'm so sorry to read of Peggy's passing. Many of my memories of Purdue consist of antics with Peggy. There weren't many dull moments having Peggy as your roommate. It sounds as if her outgoing personality and ease of making friends continued thru Peggy's life. To Lou, Mary, and the rest of her family, I hold you in my thoughts.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of Peggy. I was fortunate enough to work with her at Center Road School in Vernon before they headed to Florida. She had a great sense of humor and was so giving. She also made the BEST pies for Pi Day. I send my condolences to her entire family during this sad time.

On a visit to Indiana by my family, here's a photo of the entire Gabbert family: Joe, Barb, Uncle Jim, Mary, Aunt Jeanne, Jimmy, Trish, and Peggy on the end at the right. Early 1970s?

My cousin Peggy will be greatly missed by our extended family. You could always count on her for a game of cards, or a new game that she had discovered and talked us all into playing. She was sneaky with her camera, capturing family moments, awkward or not :) I'm sure she's in heaven playing cards with my mom (her Aunt Janet). I'm so sorry that she's gone, and I'll miss her.

Peggy, you were a great friend. I'll miss your sarcasm, quick wit, funny faces, great sense of humor and most of all your sweet disposition (even if you tried topretend otherwise). Thursday evenings will never be the same. Keep shuffling.
