Richard passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2023, in his home in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Richard is survived by his wife Judith (Judi) of New Smyrna Beach, FL. They were happily married for 46.5 years. He is preceded in death by his father, John B. Jodoin of Nashua, N.H. and his mother, Gertrude J. Jodoin and his brother Norman Jodoin of Hooksett, N.H.

Richard was born on December 21, 1938, in Nashua, N.H. to loving parents John and Gertrude. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H with a degree in Liberal Arts. He joined the United States Navy on December 1, 1960, in Boston, MA. and was stationed on Aircraft carrier U.S.S. Wasp as a electronics technician expert and retired on July 28, 1965.
Richard married Judith (Judi) on April 16, 1977. Richard was a social and active man who was deeply involved at St. Peter’s, Colors of Hunger Soup Kitchen, Outreach, Mentor, Bible Studies and helping anyone who needed assistance. He enjoyed boating, skiing, motorcycle traveling, reading, travel, football, and spending time with friends.

His family and friends will always remember him as a man of God, wisdom, humor and strength.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2023, 2 PM at St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church with a reception to follow at St. Peter’s.

The Reverend Peter Tepper and the Reverend Jim Spencer will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Richard’s God-given life. Judi would love to thank the many friends that have touched Richard’s life.
