I met Jim through providing him dental care. He was a practical guy with a great sense of humor and an overwhelming sense of responsibility for his wife Jean. Jim was kind and caring, his care for Jean was evident in his want to educate himself on her dental health needs and ensure she was taken care of.

The care and love for Jean is a testament of everlasting love and devotion. Praying God brings peace and healing to the Scanlon family especially Jean.

I met Jim through his beloved wife Jean. One of my endearing memories of Jim was his unbelievable knack to find the perfect item "on the side of the road" that he repurposed for his latest project - over and over. Over the years, I learned Jim was strong in spirit especially with Jean at his side. He and Jean's marriage was(is) a testiment of love, friendship, and devotion that can endure throughout the years. Praying you will feel God's enveloping comfort, Jean.

Jim and Jean have been my very good friends for the past 37 years. We spent many Christmas holidays together and I had a lot of fun going out for our Christmas Dinners and Jim driving us around the neighborhood checking out the beautiful Christmas tree decorations. I will never forget Jim's great laugh and he was the nicest guy and a lot of fun to be around. I know we will all meet Jim again waiting for us on the other side when it is our time. Jim was the luckiest guy in the world to be married to Jean who gave Jim excellent care, and she was right by his side until the very end. God bless Jim and you made it home to heaven.
