Obituary

Wesley Cieslak was born on 02/01/1955 and passed away on 01/31/2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Cieslak, his mother, Beatrice (Trombley) Cieslak, and a half-sister, Susan Ritchie. He is survived by his son, Troy Cieslak, his half-sister, Sandy Lurvey, and his half-brother, Earl Steinman. Wesley won many speed skating trophies as a youth in Michigan. As a young adult, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lake Superior State University, then later an associate’s degree in computer-aided design from CAD Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a musician and entertainer, particularly focusing on songs by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and Vicente Fernandez.

    We skated, rode mini bikes, then motorcycles and lived in the machine shop in high school. Cruisin' In his Impala convertible and eating boxes of his favorite snack "screaming yellow zonkers" Mentor, Friend, and the new kid in 8th grade. And all the campouts at Lake Ogemaw. You will be missed and remembered.
