Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel J. Palmer, age 76, on July 16, 2024. Born in Hartford, CT, on January 5, 1948, Daniel lived a life centered around love, laughter, family, and his faith as a man of God.
Daniel was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was known for his unwavering kindness, great sense of humor, and positive attitude. A Vietnam War Army veteran, he proudly served his country. He was happily married to his wife, Linda W Palmer, for 53 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda W Palmer; his daughter, Tracy Palmer Seifert; his son-in-law, Brian Seifert; and his cherished grandchildren: A.J. Seifert, Nathaniel Seifert, Julian Seifert, Brianna Talbert, Danielle Palmer, and Emily Palmer. Daniel was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Marley Bean, Josiah Alvarez, and Jace Alvarez. He is also survived by his sister, Cynthia Palmer Mason, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Daniel was preceded in death by his son, Danny Palmer, who passed away at the young age of 24; his brother, James Palmer; his mother, Regina Palmer; and his father, Rexford Palmer.
Dan was known for being a great chef, and his main request for his Celebration of Life was to feed his friends and family.
Please join us for his Celebration of Life on August 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Crossroads Church, 1851 Clyde Morris Rd, Port Orange, FL 32119, followed by a dessert reception in the church gymnasium.
