Robert C. Craven, age 79, of Ocala, FL, passed away suddenly on July 16, 2024 in New York. Robert was born on February 25, 1945 to his parents, Douglas and Leona (Buckingham) Craven in Dayton, OH. He served in the US Army and loved drag racing. Robert had a 1964 Barracuda in Don Gartlits Race Car Hall of Fame for 6 years, and was a member of Mopars of Ocala, the American Legion and VFW Post in Belleview. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Craven; children, Robert Scott Craven, Traci Ann Haberland, Todd Michael Craven, Spencer Douglas Craven; and 10 grandchildren, Robert, Kristin, Dakota, Brittany, Darian, Eric, Sean, Ryan, Mackenzie, and Matthew.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 2-4pm at Baldwin Brothers, 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ste, 200, Ocala, FL 34470. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Veteran’s programs or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
