Elizabeth (Betty) Bosso Ciccone, 94, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024. Born on August 22, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Clara and Ralph Bosso. She was predeceased by her devoted and beloved husband, Daniel Ciccone, which she will be reunited with after 42 years. Also preceded in death by her beloved oldest son, Gary Ciccone, and beloved brother, Angelo Bosso.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Deborah Schiavone and Gregory Ciccone. She leaves behind a legacy through her four grandchildren; Christopher (Sherry) Ciccone, Kim (Don) Morrow, Scott Ciccone, and Brad Ciccone; her seven great-grandchildren, Carissa (Troy) Domrase, Miranda Morrow, Brooke Lynn Ciccone, Donald Jr. Morrow, Dominic Ciccone, Michael Ciccone and Sophia Ciccone; and one great-great-grandchild, Nora Domrase.

Spending most of her life in Brooklyn and Staten Island, NY, Elizabeth was a proud Italian American matriarch who treasured her family deeply and they brought her the greatest joy. She enjoyed dancing, remodeling homes, playing card games with family, and baking. Her cheesecake has become a family favorite. Elizabeth’s life was marked by her love for her cousins and her commitment to her Catholic faith, having attended Catholic school in her youth.

Professionally, Elizabeth worked in jewelry sales after dedicating her life to being a homemaker, where she excelled in creating a loving and nurturing environment for her family right up to the very last day. Her devout faith and strong spirit were constants in her life, guiding her actions and providing comfort to those around her.

A memorial service to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be announced at a later date.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her vibrant spirit, and her exceptional baking. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
