Obituary

Steven D. Reese passed away peacefully at home on October 16, 2024. Steven was born on June 24th, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Orval and Ethel Reese.

He was preceded in death by his father, Orval Reese, and his mother, Ethel.

Steve leaves behind his beloved wife, Victoria, son Jason, and step-son Jake. He also leaves behind his cherished siblings: Barbara, Ronnie, Brenda, and Gloria.

A proud graduate of Harry E. Wood High School, Steve was an accomplished athlete, graduating in 1970.

He began his career as a driver for Greyhound in 1980 and dedicated 33 years to the company with an unblemished safety record.

Steve was a devoted family man, always there to help anyone in any way he could. He loved spending time with friends and family, reliving all the good memories they had together. In 2020, Steve fulfilled his dream of retiring in Florida with the woman he loved.

An avid fan of sports, Steve was a player, coach and little league president. He coached his teams to several league championships.

He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to family, and love for the game.

A Celebration of Life will be held in conjunction with the Cellar Reunion on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Moose Lodge Beech Grove.
