Obituary
Melanie Robinson, 71; beloved mother, grandmother, sister and caregiver, went home to be with the Lord on November 22 in Largo, Florida. Melanie was born in Columbus, Ohio, on March 3, 1953 to Barbara and Albert Scholl. She raised her family in Destin, Florida, where Melanie loved to visit the serene gulf coast waters and watch the ocean birds.
Melanie is survived by her daughter, Emily; her son, Sam, and his wife, Amanda and her three grandsons, Harrison, Benjamin and Oliver; her cherished siblings Dan and Byron, Jessica, Barbara, and Jimmy.
A talented artist and writer, Melanie shared her imaginative view of the world with those around her through her creative works and vibrant spirit. Her spirit shone not only in her art, but in her dedication to caring for patients with disabilities—a role she embraced with the most sincere compassion and love. Above all, Melanie’s faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. She drew strength, hope, and purpose from her deep love for Christ and his Word.
Her light will continue to shine through her art, her family, and the countless lives she touched. Melanie will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
