Obituary
Christine M. Young, “Tina” age 79, lived in Orlando, FL and passed away on December 12, 2024, at Advent Hospital in Orlando. Born in Shenandoah, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony & Adele (Dumchus) Nevadomski. She was a graduate of JW Cooper High School in 1963 and was of Catholic Faith. After graduating high school, she attended technical school for Cosmetology and then was a Stylist for most of her life. After moving to Florida, she began working in Human Resources for Rykoff Sexton where she excelled at being between employee/employer to ensure fairness for all.
Tina loved to gather with Family & Friends. Her favorite place was the Beach. She always included everyone & made everyone feel as if they mattered. She only saw the good in everyone. It was really hard for her to understand how so much effort could be used for bad instead of good! She loved keeping up with all the news from “The Coal Region” where she grew up & stayed in touch with those still in the area or who were just as interested as she was.
Preceding her death in addition to her parents was her husband Dennis, a brother Robert Nevadomski & a sister Adele P Benjamin. She is survived by her only child KellyAnn Young (Florida) & many Nieces/Nephews from Pennsylvania. She was thankful for the close friends she had that helped her through the best/worst times of her life… Peg Rejent, Connie Wargo, Sue Snyder, Deidre Smith & Carmen Hernandez. She was extremely appreciating of her newspaper carrier, as she wouldn’t even consider reading a “paper” if it wasn’t in her hand & her mobile Stylist when she couldn’t do her hair herself. She always wanted to look her best!
Family & Friends are invited to her online Remembrance of Life Event link & on her FB page. There will be no viewing Memorial, and her ashes will become part of the Beach/Coral Reef where she loved most to be. In lieu of flowers/cards, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her honor.

Days will pass, turning into years and I will always remember Tina, my best friend since 1979. I’ll miss our weekly chats across the miles. Being the book nerd Tina knew me to be I’ll post a slightly modified ...
Loving The Gone
by Sara Rian
I was dragged into a new chapter December12,2024.
One that started when Tina’s life ended. I grabbed for the previous pages but life ripped them away. New chapters will come for all who loved Tina, but I still find myself wanting to go back.
So I could talk with her again ...
Bookmarked, in the part of my life where Tina was still with us.
