Obituary

Bruce Koon, 75, of South Daytona, Florida, passed away on December 23, 2024 from Idiopathic lung fibrosis. Born in Johnstown, Pa., in 1949 to Harold and Fern Koon. Survived by his wife Pat of South Daytona, fl., his daughters Wendy Johnson (David) of Garner N.C. and Lori Reavis of South Daytona , also brother Curtis Koon of Altamonte Springs, Fl. “I fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day”

    Bruce, our dear and faithful friend for over 40 years. He always went above and beyond to help when needed. We’ll miss you Bruce, especially our annual Christmas dinners.

    We were so sorry to hear about Bruce's home going. Bruce was a kind and gracious servant of the Lord. He was always there to assist wherever he was needed. He will be hard to replace.
    Pat, we wish you and your families God's strength and grace as you carry on forward. Those of us who lost a spouse understand that there are good moments and also not good moments. God WILL see you through both of those times with his loving care!

    Bruce was a kind, faithful, humble servant of the Lord. He never wanted to be in the spotlight. "Well done, good and faithful servant." We will miss you, but only for a little while. Love and prayers.

    As one the Lord's faithful servants at the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Bruce will be missed by those of us who knew him. So glad our separation is temporary.
