I wanted to send this message to you when Fr. Rick Weltin sent me John's obit nearly a month ago. I realized today checking emails that that I failed to do that.
Please accept my sympathy and the prayers I offered when I received John's obit and now. I always admired him and all his accomplishments along with his good nature and deep faith. I pray he is enjoying his new life with God in all its fullness of love and peace.
Marg, I pray for you and your family also. Please extend my sympathy to your son, the PT, who I would see at the Decatur Family Y. We always recognized one another there and when I saw him at Memorial Hospital years ago.
Do take good care of yourself. Pleasant memories of your home with Margie May, and in Quincy of your Mother and Dad.
God blessings upon you.
Today at Mass, Father Rick (Welton) told me that since I had last seen him, he had learned of John's passing. I had missed seeing his obit in the newspaper also. Kay and I were saddened to learn about John. We hope you find comfort knowing John is in a good place now. May the Lord fill your heart with fond memories and of the Holf Spirit. Blessings to your entire family.
