In Loving Memory of Angelita Nunez
October 1, 1930 – November 15, 2024
Angelita Nunez was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, the second daughter of Agapito Rivera and Leocadia Carrion.
On November 18, 1950, she married the love of her life, Jose, and together they shared 74 beautiful years of marriage. In 1956, they began a new chapter in the United States, settling in Paterson, New Jersey, before moving to Orlando, Florida, in 1992. Angelita treasured their journey together, carrying Jose’s memory close to her heart after his passing in May of this year.
Angelita was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Maria, Carmen, and Isa, who were her greatest source of pride and joy. Her legacy extends through her loving family, including five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and another great-great-grandchild due to arrive in April. Known for her warm hospitality and radiant smile, Angelita cultivated a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jose, her sister Eleuteria Tamburino, her niece Joanne M. Rivera, as well as her parents and stepbrothers.
Angelita’s memory lives on through her daughters, her extended family, and all those fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness, love, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.

Te Amo Josh and Alexa
