Annie Ruth Chisolm
June 8, 1933 – November 10, 2025
Annie Ruth Chisolm, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,sister and friend, peacefully ended this phase of her life on November 10, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on June 8, 1933, to James and Lucy Mullins. Annie lived a life filled with love, faith, and compassion for all who knew her. She retired after a long career as a teacher at Chisholm Head Start Program.
Annie was one of eight siblings, and her family remained a source of great joy throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers James Mullins, Fred Mullins, and Johnny Mullins, and her sisters Marian Pearson and Martha Farmer. She is survived by her brother Franklin Mullins (Jeanette), and sister Elois Johnson, who will cherish her memory dearly.
A devoted mother, Annie had seven children with boundless love and strength. She was preceded in death by her daughters Serena Chisolm and Angela Cook. She leaves to celebrate her life and legacy her children Cheryl Booth (James), Michael Chisolm, Lucinda Chisolm-Sirmans (Dustin), Bridgett McMillan, and Carmen Chisolm.
Annie’s family was her greatest pride. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren—Jared Cook, Brandon Cook, Sean Chisolm, Michelle Chisolm, Carressa Chisolm, Maran Thompson, Mikhial Billquist, Stephanie McMillan-Saunders, Elliot McMillan, Layla Moore and son-in-law Telmon Cook—and 18 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought light and laughter to her days.
Annie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kindness, and her unwavering devotion to Jehovah her God. Her legacy of love, strength, and grace will continue to live on through all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Memorial service will be Thursday November 20, 2025 between 1-3 pm at Baldwin Funeral Home, 1 North Causeway New Smyrna, Fl
