In Loving Memory of Anthony John Fitzsimmons 

August 3, 1952-February 2, 2025 

Tony Fitzsimmons, 72, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from pulmonary fibrosis with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 3, 1952, in Albany, New York. He married Jeannie Fitzsimmons on November 24, 1989.

He graduated from Texas A&M in 1987 with a bachelor of science in engineering. He was an engineer for 34 years and was a business owner for 16 years.

He had a very full life filled with traveling and laughter. He was a very loving father and husband for over 35 years. He loved floating in the ocean, walking his dog, talking politics, and was an avid pool player. He placed first place in his pool league in 2024 and was a champion at bank shots. If there was something that was broken, he would sure find a way to fix it. He was a problem solver and always curious on how to make things around more efficient.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Fitzsimmons, three daughters, Katie Fitzsimmons (husband Nikhil Bastikar), Rachael Lumpkin (husband Brett Norvig), Amy Lumpkin, his brother Michael Fitzsimmons (wife Margie Fitzsimmons), and grandchildren Abigail, Blake, Dylan, Christian, Madelynn, and Andrew.

You will be forever in our hearts and dreams, and we miss you dearly. Your joyous nature and funny spirit will be missed dearly from all. We will love you forever and are glad you can breathe in peace.

The memorial service will be held on March 1, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. at Baldwin Brothers located at 1008 Bichara Boulevard, The Villages, Florida, 32159. Flowers may be sent to the location of the funeral.
