Turnage. Arnold was born October 1, 1946, in Spring Lake, NJ. He grew up in Toms River “Money Island” and graduated from Tom River High School in 1965. He attended North Texas State University.

Arnie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending days out on the water.  Arnold loved golfing and listening to music, “loudly.”  He adored his little pal, Marley, his 7 year old Shih-tzu. Arnie had a boisterous personality that lit up a room. He will be dearly missed!

I have so many wonderful memories of my cousin Arnie. My childhood years were spent every summer in Money Island across the street from my dear cousins Tony, Esther, Arnie, Mark and Jill. Arnie teased me constantly, and I always pretended to be annoyed, but truthfully, I loved every minute of it !! We swam in the river every day, crabbed off the dock, floated on a huge raft, ate ice cream cones at the little store by the beach. It was so much fun ! Over the years, we always kept in touch, and I am so grateful for our lengthy, funny phone calls, our visits to Florida with Pat and Arnie, weddings of our children, and all the happy moments Tom, Michael, Christine and I have spent together all these years. My heart aches for Pat, Elise, CJ, Mark , Jill and their families. I loved Arnie so much and will treasure all the times we spent together, Lainie

    Arnie,
We love you very much and know that you are at peace, stripe bass fishing in heaven. You made the best Cajun seasoned bass. Joe will miss exchanging stories with you about growing up in the fifties and of course the Yankees! God bless you forever in heaven.
