Obituary

Arthur Lee Mott Sr also known as “Lee” to his family and friends was born on December 5th, 1963 in West Monroe, Louisiana to parents Arthur Gonzalez and Geneva Mott. Arthur went to Wossman High School- Class of 82’ where he was crowned star football player on the Varsity team.

Arthur was proceeded by three brothers; Houston Dickens III, Rothell Mott, and James Doublin; his sister Virgie L. Mott; his Aunt Julia Mott Johnson; his nephews Earnest L. McDaniel, and Moses “Mojo” Mott Sr.

Arthur leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Geneva Mott; wife Catherine Josail Mott; three sons Daquan Tyrell Smith Sr, Arthur Lee Mott Jr, Isaiah Malik Mott; one daughter Shania Talia Mott; two grandchildren Daquan Tyrell Smith Jr, Vashaun Tiquavion Smith; one family pet Coach Mott; one aunt Ann Bryant; five sisters Evangeline Gullory, Julie Felton, Helen Mott, Rosalyn Harris, and Corinthian Mott; two brothers Lee Otis dickens and Raymond Mott; and a host of  aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

    I can't believe you gone even though you was far away we always stayed in touch with each other I neverthought it would be you. I remember when you was in the hospital I would call and make you laugh to keep from crying I could hear in voice that you wasnt ok but I remember saying unc its going to be ok I Love you thats last thing we said to each other.     You have been one of the greatest things I have ever had. You are my father, my friend, and my protector and I am sad to see you go. You will always be in my heart. Thanks for believing in me so many time and supporting me for myself, you never judged me, you never made me feel like I have lost. I think about you every day and wish I could just talk to you and hear you laugh at my jokes. You will always be in my heart, please watch over us.
