Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Audrey Margaret E. Keene, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, and servant of God, who went home to be the Lord on December 27, 2024. She was 90 years old, born on October 16, 1934, in Jamestown, NY. She was the daughter of Carl William and Katherine Ann (Soderberg) Malm.
Audrey was an embodiment of selfless love and compassion, touching the lives of all who knew her. As a devoted wife and mother, she dedicated her life to her family. She nurtured her children with unwavering love, instilling in them values of kindness, humility, and faith. Her role as grandmother brought her immeasurable joy, and her great grandchildren were blessed to experience the deep affection she shared with them. A woman of strong faith, Audrey served the church unceasingly, giving her time, talents, and heart to its mission. Whether through prayer, fellowship, or volunteering, she lived her life in service to others, always prioritizing the needs of those around her before her own. Her love for Jesus was evident in every aspect of her life, and her faith was the cornerstone upon which she built her family and her relationships. In addition to her role as mother and wife, Audrey worked as an activity coordinator for seniors, where she brought joy, companionship, and comfort to those she cared for. Her dedication to their well-being was evident in her warm smile, her listening ear, and her tireless commitment to ensuring they felt valued and loved. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen and heard, and her acts of service, though often quiet and unseen, made an immeasurable impact on her community. Audrey taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love and the importance of living a life of service to others.
She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Carl Graham, Malinda Starr Graham (Lemmerman), Dawn Denise Graham (Leiva), Michelle Suzanne Graham (Linville), Michael Allen Graham (Kelly); her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister, Donna D. Beaver; and a host of dear friends, extended family, and a community that will deeply miss her presence.
A Celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at 12:00 PM (noon) on January 25, 2025, at Sherrick Hall at First Assembly of God, 4701 Summerlin Road, Fort Myers, Florida 33919.
While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior, where she will continue to serve and experience the love she so freely gave to others. Her legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
