From the North Carolina (and beyond) Norman family:
The fond memories we have of Don when he could visit at our annual family reunions were heart warming. For those of us who are old enough to be frequent visitors to Norman Rd. on weekends, the memories are even more poignant. Being one of the older cousins, Don was always gathering folks to "play ball" and would often entertain us with one of his melodic songs of faith.
Our best wishes go to each of you with the Christ-like life Don left as you as his legacy.
He was a blessing to many.
RIP

My name is Dr. Arthur George Scott. Graduated from LU in 1980 and knew Pastor Don from his music experiences. The Old Time Gospel Hour Trio was so well respected and I still play many of those songs, "Because He Loved Me" is an incredible piece. I played for Don a few times at the piano; he was supportive and sincerely loved everyone.
Don is singing with the angels now! RIP friend. Dr. Arthur George Scott
